Our SHEQ and Contracts Team work tirelessly to involve our employees in a drive to improve behavior and safe working practices. We wouldn’t have been able to successfully improve SHEQ Standards without their determination, diligence and professionalism.
Access Services (HK) have successfully attained many SHEQ Standards– such as ISO 45001, and the British Safety Council 5-star award. Our own Behavioral Safety Program is a powerful tool that operatives and staff can use in the process to improve worker involvement, and create even safer working environments.
Whilst we at Access Services (HK) want to reward good working practices, we cannot condone and will not accept bad working practices, and this will result in suspension and a disciplinary process.
We expect and demand our operatives follow our Key Safe Behaviors:
Segregation
Protect others with Barriers, Warning Signs, Fans etc.
Safe System of Work
Work to the RAMs, work safely and to SG4:15
Housekeeping
Keep your work area tidy, with no trip hazards
PPE
Wear full PPE — including Helmet, Safety Boots, Hi-Vis, Gloves (and Harness if trained)
Quality
Erect ties progressively — e.g. on the base lift, every other lift & top lift and erect a neat and safe scaffold (TG20:13)
